The school will follow syllabi and courses as per scheme of studies prescribed by the Board for senior school certificate examination and changes made there in from time to time.
Class XI will have 4 examinations in a year: pre-midterm, midterm, post midterm and final. The aggregate of all the examinations will determine the criteria for promotion to class XII.
Class XII will have 5 examinations in a year: pre-midterm, midterm, post midterm, I Model, II Model and III Model.
|
Remedial Classes
The school also runs remedial classes in the evenings where special attention is given to weak students.
Special Focus on Languages
We aim to develop the language skills of our students in English, Malayalam and Hindi alike. As English is a language which has to be used in our daily life and not just studied academically, we focus on developing the English skills of the students and have a fully equipped Language Lab to achieve this aim. The members of the inspection board of CBSE who visit the school are always impressed by the fluency of our students’ English. At the same time, unlike many other schools where the students are introduced to Malayalam and Hindi quite late in schooling, we teach our students Malayalam and Hindi right from the Kinder garten level standard. As a result, our students develop their linguistic skills faster and they become proficient in all three languages instead of only being able to communicate in one language as they grow up.
Besides Indian languages, we also teach our students German in the higher classes (VI – VIII).
