Ms. Lata Roy has taken over as the Principal of Hagia Sophia Public School on 2 April 2024. An ardent academician, she has contributed more than two decades of relentless and passionate service in the field of education. She completed her school education from the Goa Board of Secondary Education, and has to her credit a post graduate degree in Botany and a degree in Law (LLB). She attained her teachers’ training graduation from Titus II Teachers College, Thiruvalla. Stepping into the teaching profession, she started her career in prestigious schools in Banglore followed by a stint in Kodaikanal International School before moving to Kerala. She has proved her mettle as a teacher and administrator in all the institutions she has been a part of. She strives to provide quality education to the students making them successful learners, transformative individuals and global citizens. She ensures that students are cared for and nurtured in a student friendly environment so as to develop a holistic personality and enable them to make a difference in the society and to the nation.
